Terms and Licence Information
for Promotional Marketing Campaigns

Short-term marketing campaigns in DIY stores, shopping centres, garden centres or out of town retail destination venues are an ideal way of reaching millions of consumers and gaining instant feedback.

Retailers can promote their products or services from concession stands or retail merchandising units positioned in designated high footfall areas within their chosen store. Generally promotions are governed by a promotional licence which covers periods from a single day to 364 days. Each licence usually contains a notice period which is for a rolling period of 28 days.

The licence protects the interest of the parties and promoters can be assured that it has been used successfully in thousands of promotional campaigns. The promoter is responsible for ensuring they have £5 million public liability Insurance to cover the period of the promotion. Our systems require that promoters pay for their promotional marketing periods in advance of the start date by cleared funds. We accept all major credit cards or bank transfers.

Promotional space can be reserved up to 3 months in advance with most venues. We advise that promoters reserve space for Bank holidays and major shopping periods such as Christmas, at least one month in advance to avoid disappointment. Rates for space varies according to demand so promoters are advised to call for up to the minute venue costs.

Our sales agents produce all documentation and when reserving space an order form will be completed to confirm the venues details and terms agreed. A confirmation of booking is raised on completion of the signed order form, and it also provides the right for the promoter to use the designated space. The order form must be taken along to the venue on the day that the promotion is booked to start.

As we book national venues we can help promoters plan a nationwide, marketing campaign which allows them to move between selected host stores within the same group of companies. These campaigns are run on separate agreements tailored to the individual group of venues and the promoter.

If you have any questions regarding the licence terms please contact our sales agents and they will gladly assist with any questions.
